We invite you to be part of an event for a good cause and meet other people who came to morning practice in supporting Breast Cancer awareness and empowering the patient/survivors with Oscillation Yoga at Grand Millennium Ballroom be the first to join this exclusive yoga session for free.

Recent Medical studies have shown that yoga classes can have a huge amount of health benefits for those living with, or with a history of, breast cancer. Yoga helps reduce fatigue, and stress; builds new energy and self-confidence and also improves sleep. Overall improving your quality of life.

The yoga session are designed so that everyone can participate for all levels. Whether people have been touched by breast cancer or not, everybody is facing struggles in their own life.

The session will include gentle and restorative yoga postures that will bring ease of movement and comfort back to your body. While living with cancer, inner resources may leave you depleted; this session will increase your sense of inner peace and help regain strength and mobility. No prior yoga experience needed.

Yoga 101 caters to newbies, focusing on the basics where you learn yoga with proper alignment check and delicious adjustment.  Hereโ€™s what you need to know before you go: Itโ€™s always advisable to avoid eating right before yoga, wear clothing that allows freedom of movement in the body, and leave your shoes at the door. Show up prepared to move. Yoga stretches and strengthens the body through a series of postures in which you support your own weight and focus on conscious breathingโ€”both of which can be more challenging than they sound! Luckily, you have a luxurious rest (called Savasana) at the end of class to look forward to. Youโ€™ll walk out feeling embodied, empowered, energized, and (we hope) eager to come back!

There will be a short discussion on what intention setting means followed by questions to help you get clear on what you would like to invite into the New Year. Healing is the process of the restoration of health from an unbalanced lifestyle, trauma, diseased or damaged organism. The result of healing can be a cure to a health challenge, but one can heal without being cured. Many studies has showed In meditation, healing can happen. When the mind is calm, alert and totally contented, then it is like a laser beam โ€“ it is very powerful and healing can happen. There is evidence that it shrinks neurons on the hippocampus, a part of the brain involved in learning capacity, memory, and positive mood. The self-healing hippocampus has the ability to regenerate, if stress is discontinued. And healing meditation reduces stress, as shown in Dr. Davidsonโ€™s research. Combine with Yin Yoga  that helps you with pain of stiff knees and an aching back. By stretching the connective tissue, yin approach works to promote flexibility in areas often perceived as nonmalleable, especially the hips, pelvis, and lower spine allowing you to feel release.

Our children live in a hurry-up world of busy parents, school pressures, incessant lessons, video games, malls, and competitive sports. We usually donโ€™t think of these influences as stressful for our kids, but often they are. The bustling pace of our childrenโ€™s lives can have a profound effect on their innate joyโ€”and usually not for the better.

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface.
